Many nourishing and medicinal plants, like dandelion and chickweed, grow wild in our backyards. Their minerals, vitamins, and water content exceed that of the same store-bought specimens, in addition to being abundant and free they teach us how to be resilient in the midst of adversity.
Learn to identify and use these medicinal and nutritive plants that have historically provided nutritional and healing benefits. Other highlighted “weeds” for discussion: Cleavers, Red Cover, Plantain, Ground Ivy and Yellow Dock.
