Discover the history and mystery surrounding Sloss Furnaces!

When the lights are turned off, the tour begins! On these special night tours, a docent leads participants through the historic Sloss Furnaces site explaining how the site operated, its importance to Birmingham and the country, and the experiences of the men who worked at the furnaces–including the known deaths that have occurred on site. These tours are about 2 hours long and are primarily outdoors. Spaces are limited in these tours as we strive to provide a more personal experience for participants on the tour.

Please note that this is not a ghost/paranormal tour–we do not tell ghost stories on this tour

• We highly recommend closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes as participants will be standing/walking for about 2 hours.
• We encourage photography, however tri-pods or splitting from the group to take photos are not allowed.
• No smoking or alcoholic beverages are allowed on site.
• All participants will be required to sign a waiver before the tour.

The cost for the Historic Night Tour is $25 per person. A $10 non-refundable deposit per ticket (taken out of the total cost) is required to secure spots.
