Fri. 6pm-9pm, Sat. & Sun. 10am-5pm
In this three-day workshop you'll learn to move between the fire, hammer, and anvil. Using basic blacksmithing tools, you'll learn the techniques used to manipulate steel. Students can expect to complete several small projects. Friday 6-9 pm; Saturday/Sun
Students will learn the fundamentals of blacksmithing such as how to forge a taper, upset, draw, split and punch holes in mild steel. Basic fire control and hammer techniques will be demonstrated.
