Cast Iron Sculpture for Beginners

A three day class for those with no experience taught by Sloss’ very own metal artists. You’ll leave the class with a clear understanding of how to cast a metal sculpture. Iron and Bronze Casting: Artists Open Studio

Creative Welding Class

August 18 @ 10:00 am - August 19 @ 4:00 pm

No experience necessary! In this workshop you’ll learn to make cool stuff for your home or garden. The instructor will guide you through all the basic processes you need to use a cutting torch and welder to create your own works of art. Time: 10 am – 4 pm Workshop provides equipment, supplies, and instruction in the use of MIG welders. Students are welcome to bring their own welders if they prefer to learn on their own equipment. Cast Iron Bowl-O-Rama

Bring some friends and beverages (adult included!) and join the Sloss metal arts staff for a night of cast iron creative fun! It's like sips and strokes on steroids! The Sloss artists will help you create your own cast iron bowl (doodle bowl) for $45. The bowl mold and tools are provided. All ages.
